GUILTY!!! I just got a "boxwood" or at least thats what the girl at home depot said it was, but I don't think she knew what she was talking about because at first she said it was a "bonsai tree" after I told her that was not a "type" of tree she said " ooo It's a boxwood" anyway I liked it so I bought it anyway, I will post a pic in a little while, my batteries are charging for my camera right now. I iwll also look it up to see what it is, I have a huge Patio/deck with a nice bench area, so I am already planning my layout for spring!!! I love the planning stage. If anyone has any suggestions or links they can share that would be great! I will also post pic's of the deck area so you can see it.

Yes, that is definitely a boxwood. What I would do is re-pot it into a more free draining mix and let it grow for a few years. I can see a Live oak style tree in there after some years of growth. Type that into google and you'll know what I mean.
