I Need An ID for This Tree Please

I have several of these trees in my neighborhood. They are used mostly as street trees and are
relatively short and compact. Probably only 15' - 20' tall.

The leaves are only about 3/4" long and look alot like Elm leaves only with pointed tops. The attached brown pods
contain the seeds. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Anybody out there? I thought by now I'd have some guesses at least.

It would help to see the whole tree and the flowers. To id a plant you need a leaf, a flower, and a seed. Unless this is something very familiar, it is hard to recognize it out of context.
