Robusta juniper bonsai by john naka with yellowing needles!

 my robusta juniper, started by john naka, has yellowing needles and needs help !
I had transplanted it a month ago and it was doing fine. Then needles on some branches began to yellow, ten turn brown.
I have set pot in a tray of water with Superthrive and iron mixture to soak. Mist with same solution during day, but am not really seeing positive response.
I need help in what to do to save the historic specimen!

Welcome to the Forum! To start with you need to tell us where you are and what conditions you have been keeping your juniper tree in. Indoors? Outdoors? What sun exposure?

You said you transplanted it. In to what? What kind of potting medium?

Don't ever let your bonsai sit in standing water more than a few minutes.

The more information you give us (and a couple pictures would help too!), the better help we can be.

Anyway, I would love to see some pictures of this historic tree. How old is it? John Naka passed away in 2004 at the age of 90. Much of his work was done in the 1950's and 1960's. How does some one who sounds like a relative new comer to the art of bonsai happen to have such a tree?
