I have decided to put a Chinese Elm in a round container (23" diameter, 8" deep) outdoors. I live in East Central Florida, hardiness zone 9b. It will be located in an area that gets bright light all day, and some low-angled light in the afternoons. It will be mostly covered by the eave of the house. I just got the tree today from California, and it looks good.
I have two questions: (1) Will the elm do okay in Central Florida? I have read where it says that it should, but you know you can't believe everything you read on the internet

I appreciate any help and suggestions you can provide!
