Hello all, I am new to Bonsai! Iv always admired authentic bonsai trees from the first time I saw them at my local Garden Nursery.
I just got my first one the other day and I am confused on what type of tree it is. I was told it is a pithecellobium dulce (or more commonly know as a rain tree) but when I google it, I get other types of tree that are similar but not the same.
I was only able to find this picture of it online, but the site was entirely in Japanese. Could anyone identify it?
Kinda confused how to post pics...
I really appreciate ANY help!!! Thank you!
Sam

Place of origin: Chubei
It is the evergreen tall tree of tropical American original product. The white flower is attached. The material is a water resistance and the construction material, the bark is used although the dye and the skin are tanned. Because there is long sharp [toge] in the branch, as a hedge it is planted so is.

These pictures are a bit large - You can use this free program to resize [& then replace] them: https://www.irfanview.com/
Possibly, Although maybe not as bonsai at garden centers are notorious for being labeled incorrectly [If at all].Now are you saying that Bonsai pic you posted is a larger version of this one?
