HELP MY BONSAI!

Hi, I've had my bonsai for a year, ligustrum, it was in reasonable condition, I repotted (it really needed it!) trimmed some roots, put it back into a slightly larger pot with some stones and fresh bonsai compost.

It's dying I think, there are no large leaves left, the all shrivelled up and fell off! there are however many new leaves growing, but after a few days they've died! The ends kinda go black and shrivelled and it spreads down the leaf.

Please help!! I'm desperate!

Thanks,

Nicole

Please be welcome here. There is no bad question.

Sounds like (I am guessing) overwatering. But inasmuch as you mentioned just repotting your tree. What did you use for soil? Potting soils-composts rich in loess or sifted organic compost may not admit enough air for your tree.

If you stick a chop stick in soil, now many days does it take before the chopstick comes out dry?
