Blue Moss Cypress Pom Pom Help Needed
I am located in NYC and I have a Blue Moss Cypress Pom Pom. I purchased it in July. When I first purchased it, I trimmed some of the pom poms to shape them. But I realized that I shouldn't have done that because the following week, it turned yellow brown. Since then I have not trimmed. I noticed that my blue moss is turning yellow in the inside of each pom pom recently. I was consistently watering the tree for 2 months straight per nursery instructions (to get the roots into the ground). I haven't been watering as consistently after the two months and weather has been colder. I'm worried that my tree is dying. I have started watering again recently. Is there anything else that I can do to ensure it doesn't die? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
