little white spiders in my juniper...help!

Hi**

While watering my plant little white spiders emerged from the soil. R they bad? What should I do?

angeleyes,

Is this the Juniper that you posted about previously? How has it recovered from its ordeal?

It sounds like you may be having a problem with spider mites. Try Google to locate some photos or additional information. I have been lucky in that I seldom see any and have not had a serious problem with them so far. Here is a link that provides some basic information and some possible remedies.

Remember to always start with the least offensive measure first. In this case that would be a simple blast with the hose.

No I will not soak the tree lol, but r these spidermites dangerouse towards my tree? and yes this is the same tree, and it has gottren better. I've taken it off a watering schedule to just watering when the soil is dry, checking with a chop stick = ) I hope this is some improvment!
