bonsai newb

hi I am newb when it comes to bonsai , I'm living in SA a small town called phalaborwa! its really hot here and I'm having 3 bonsai , camel thorn ,monkey thorn an a christmas tree bonsais any tips for me please?

Your summer is nigh. A shade house and learning how to check soil for drouth (use a chop stick)

South Africa is a lot more tropical than here in Ohio.

Welcome to the forum. Your species (christmas tree ???) are foreign to many of us, as is your climate, at least to me. This means that specifics are going to be difficult, instead concentrate on the basics.

As Tom notes proper watering is first on the list. Keeping your first trees alive from season to season is the priority, styling comes later.

I kept them outside in the shade coz they told me all of them are outdoor bonsai ,but it looked like all the leaves started turning yellow ! now I keep them indoor and its looking much better
