Branch Pruning

Hi, I have a liquuid amber tree as a bonsai, this autumn as the leaves fall, they are revealing a junk looking design, its overgrown and the branches span out too high and wide.

My Question is how heavily can I branch prune the tree???

sean117Ply,

Welcome,

You can prune these fairly hard but your timing is not good as I understand it, They should be pruned during the growing season. See here.

Looks as though you will have plenty of time to plan your cuts 8).
