juniper

From what I have read hot weather is not good for junipers in the winter, but it also depends on what type of juniper. Some might be able to do it, many can't, I have heard of people putting them in then fridge to simulate dormancy.

Actually junipers like full sun, just not in the hottest months. Put them in a semi shaded area for a few weeks then and the foliage will darken .
Oh yeah...one more thing.
junipers are outdoor trees.
