update on fukien tea

This is a follow up to a post I started a couple weeks ago. See link here. https://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41505

So it's a few weeks later and I wanted to update the status of my tree. The weekend after I brought it in, a bunch of the leaves had turned brown and fell off. About a week after that, I noticed some leaves starting to bud. It now seems that leaves are budding all over the tree, and they appear to be a healthy green color. I purchased a humidity tray and have been watering the tree twice a week (as needed).

Also, I've been leaving the overhead fluorescent desk lamp on all the time, even when I leave over the weekend. I think this has been the biggest difference.

So, in your expert opinion(s), is my tree healthy and will it survive here in the office? See pictures below. All the zoomed in pictures (bottom 3) are of the newly budded leaves. Thanks!

You have proved me wrong. :) Your tree does indeed seem to be doing just fine in your office. So I believe that it will be okay. Excellent job on the tree!

Awesome! I read your first post a few days ago and I was thinking about your little bonsai today. I'm glad it all worked out :)
