growing black pine and need help???????
HEY!! my boyfriend recently bought me a black pine bonsai tree in a pet garden tin. I now have 3 little sprouts and one large one but I don't know what to do next as the instructions it came with only told you how to pot the seeds and grow the seeds. Could anyone help me on what to do next please? CHEERS!!!

I am confused as to what exactly you have growing. [If you are growing from seed you have a long long long long path to a bonsai.]Sorry, Please clarify and post pictures if possible.

I am not too sure I planted the seeds at new year and they have just started growing. one is tall and the others are just peeping out of the soil. sorry I cant post pics. I hope this is a bit moe helpful. the main thing is there are 4 in one small tin and I don't know if to repot or how or when or wnything really. I am new to bonsai I am afraid. sorry!!!

Ok you have sprouts [a pic would help a lot to see if you need worry about overcrowding.]
Start reading everything you can about bonsai.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the articles on the basics and specifically the ones regarding watering and soil also.
At this point I can't imagine you need to do anything but keep 'em going.
At some point you will need to remove the tap root [a year or two].
Gnome is a year ahead of you w/ a seedling and will drop by here and have some more details I'm sure. [No pressure Gnome...

I really feel it is a mistake to start seeds intended for bonsai indoors. This is a long term (decades) project and you have really gained very little in the long run. I understand the desire to get started though, so please don't take this as a criticism but for future reference.
