Eugenia Topiary
Please help! I forgot to water my three tiered topiary. the leaves are all dried out but there are a few fresh leaves on the plant. Also How much light does it need?If the plant needs to be in front of a window, my windows all have baseboard heat under them. I could put it next to the couch which would get light but not sun. Thank you for your help
Eugenia need quite a bit of light. They respond *okay* to a missed watering. But, leaving them for weeks on end will likely kill them. The lack of light could lead to leaf drop. If the leaves are shrivelling before falling off, it might have been the lack of water. For dry pots, just soak for about half an hour to the pot rim, then water as usual.
