My bonsai is losing green leaves and they seem to be quite droopy. I don't want to over water it though, but the soil is still quite moist. Some of the leaves are turning brown and dying and others have gone kind of yellow. I water it roughly twice a week and make sure the soil is always moist. It gets sunlight everyday but it is a North facing window (my apartment only faces North). Could it be that it suddenly got colder? I live in Paris and recently leaves have started falling off all other trees in the neighbourhood....
HELP!
I'll post a picture[/img]
Ficus typically drop leaves when exposed to drafts or a change to cold, or if they are moved to a drastically new location. Also, as luigonz said it may be overwatering.
In any case, a tree with few or no leaves requires much less water than a tree with a lot of leaves, so until the leaves grow back you will want to be very careful about watering. ONLY water when dry.
