Well a while back I asked what lighting to use for over wintering my tropicals.
The recomendation in the subject line was made. I have 4 plants in the aquarium(cat cant eat them plus humidity is easy to control). I had the plants in there just short of a month..Also I have two fans moving the air through the aquarium. The results...WOW.
I water the plants once a week to once every two weeks(the moving air takes most of the moisture away). I actually have to go prune the little trees because the growth is so strong and rapid. Each plant is attempting to push the other out.
In a few weeks we are moving to a new apartment that gets light in every window all day. Plus my wife gave me a room for my trees ...but back to the topic.
The results with the T5 lamps are amazing! I never thought I would be battling growth in the winter lol. Who ever suggested this set up. Thank you!
