Needing advice with my bonsai tree!
A couple weeks ago I was at one of the local plant shops when I came across an interesting looking plant and I decided to buy it. All they were able to tell me was that it was a bonsai tree and to water it once a week. Now if you're thinking what I'm thinking the people at the store sure didn't major in botany. Since then the leaves of my tree are falling off. I find close to 7 or 8 in the morning. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas as to what is happening. Its getting cold where I am at...the night temperature is 40-50 degrees. It is indoors and my apartment is set at about 75 degrees. It is setting.g in a window seal facing north (I know not the best but I only have north and south facing windows) if anybody has any advice as to what is happening or any tips that might be useful as far as care goes it would be great appreciated!!

I hope I did this right...I'm doing this from my phone. But here are a couple pictures of my bonsai tree. If anybody knows what kind it is...that would be helpful too!! Lol

The small pictures make it difficult but I think it is a Ginseng Ficus, a fairly common retail type bonsai. Ficus are noted for dropping their leaves when they are introduced to a new environment.
Please read this thread for some tips on watering. In particular pay attention to the chopstick method.
