I Need Help Identifying My Trees!

I got these trees a couple months ago from my wifes grandmother, I tried asking her what kind of trees they were but she only knew thier nicknames. Can anyone help me out??

What do you mean by nicknames?

Yep, Please tell us the nicknames. It would be a start....

I would consider also nicking off a leaf from each of them and taking it to your local garden center or arboretum and ask their expert.
Obviously tropical, ... but I am at a loss for the moment.

The first one looks like a chinese elm only because of the bark, I have one similar to it. The bottom one looks like some sort of black olive, I also have a small version of that.
