I Need Help Identifying My Trees!

I got these trees a couple months ago from my wifes grandmother, i tried asking her what kind of trees they were but she only knew thier nicknames. Can anyone help me out??

Yep, Please tell us the nicknames. It would be a start....

I would consider also nicking off a leaf from each of them and taking it to your local garden center or arboretum and ask their expert.
Obviously tropical, ... but I am at a loss for the moment.

The first one looks like a chinese elm only because of the bark, I have one similar to it. The bottom one looks like some sort of black olive, I also have a small version of that.
