Got a new Snow Rose..now what?

I purchased a Snow Rose from a Bonsai Store in NYC last weekend and after reading on the fourm I'm a little confused as to where to keep it. I thought it was a sub-tropical and therefore had to be kept indoors. I currently have mine in our sun room. Southern facing room with lots of windows. I live on the southern shore of Lake Ontario outside Rochester, NY. My other trees are all winter hardy varieties that have been outside since I got them and I plan to move them into my unheated garage once the temperature drops. So the question is what to do with the Snow Rose? Can it be kept outdoors and if so, do I have enough time to get it "winter hardy"?

It's a Serissa foetida,

A quick aside: Strange that you would buy from NYC when right in Rochester [Well it is actually in West Henrietta ] is the International Bonsai Arboretum run by world renown Bonsai artist, Teacher, and Publisher [International Bonsai] William N.Valavanis.

Was just informed my Snow Rose is a serrissa foetida. And that it should be kept indoors. Maybe I didn't understand the other posts that lead me to believe it needs and outdoor dormancy period.

It's been a month or so since I got this tree. When I brought it home it was covered in white blossoms. As time went on the blossoms died off and some of the leaves yellowed and dropped. Started to panic a bit, but looks like now it has accepted my home and is once again producing beautiful white blossoms and the leaves are not turning or falling anymore.

This is what the tree looked like shortly after I brought it home. I repotted it and did a minimal amount of wiring.

This tree is in a room that we call our "spa room" as there is a hot tub in the room. Most of our indoor plants are also in this room. Southern exposure with lots of windows. The room itself has no heat source but is open to the rest of the house. It is usually about 5-10 degrees cooler than our house temp at any given season.

The tree lost all its blossoms and some of the leaves turned yellow and dropped off. The next couple of pics show that the tree has seemed to acclimate to its new home and is recovering!
