Bonsai identification please!

Hi, I just received this bonsai and I really want to know what type it is and how should I take care of it. :?

I am not good at identifying trees, so I'll let someone else do that.
My opinion is to remove whatever is on top of the soil (even though it may look nice it could be harmful to the plant).

what u have is a ficus tree. Google up some images and you'll see.

Thanks for the reply, the person that gave me that said it's a bonsai and I was questioning what type.
And btw I thinked about removing the decorations but how can it be harmful?

Sometime when thing that are not supposed to be on a tree (like non-natural things)
The gems or whatever is on the soil can be harmful by not letting it being watered right.

with soil surface covered, it's harder to judge water content in the soil. With ficus you want the soil to become 80% dry before re-watering. Not watering right is harmful to the tree.

As other posters have noted, hot-glued, on rocks make care for a tree problematic.

Last year I gave away 50+ trees of my own compostion that had been planted out in pots of this shipping practice. :(

They glue the dirt in place with hot-glue and polished rocks...

Good for me, bad for trees.
