wintering Juniper

I just purchased a couple of junipers at Home Depot (great price) for the wintering test.

Let me know if this is correct.

I should not do anything, wiring etc. until next spring.

Leave them in their plastic pots, up against the house, covered with leaves until next spring.

Next spring start working on the Junipers.

Does this sound correct?

Don't forget to water them. Not as much as during the growing season - but dormant trees should not dry out totally. Rain and snow will provide some moisture, but during a dry spell you will need to provide some water.
