Hi all,
My little bonsai suffered some neglect for a weekend and looked like it died completely. Well it didn't ! I kept watering him every morning and he is now pushing out HUGE leaves! He seems happy, but is this normal?

Think of leaves as solar panels. We restrict the roots and foods and the plant needs little to get by...
In a stressed state, the need for energy is greater and I suspect the tree responds by going for maximum energy and transpiration. Not surprising. Especially with all the water. I'd back off slowly and see what hardens off.
