another overwinter ?

i live in a zone 6 area and have jst wired my outdoor trees :o :D and will be putting them in the ground next week. i was wondering if i should fertalize them and with what. :? i have decidous and conifrous trees thanks again y'all

Here in central NY we are preparing trees for winter - had a light blanket of snow this morning. No fertilizing until the growing season begins again next spring. Your area is not that different. Why try to induce growth now? Frost would just "nip it on the bud".

Wintering seems to be the one topic everyone is concerned about. It is the one thing that scares me the most. This forum has provide GREAT info.
