my juniper bonsai...

I have a question about my tree... I been keeping it outside since I got it, and I went out just a few ago to move it in the sun (I do that everymorning) and well I accidently broke the side branch, about 2 inches of it, and it also is very brittle, and I'm thinking thats why it broke so easily, but is there anything I could do ? And will it just die now that I did that? Any information would be appreciated.

Well typically junipers that are brittle are dead anyways.

How are the state of the needles? Soft and green or brown/brittle?

they are very brittle, they hurt when you touch them... So I guess there's nothing I could do??? So its basically dead?

Is it all brittle or just parts? I fear for the tree but never say never.
How often are you watering it?

just because one part of the tree is dead doesnt mean it all is. I saw a commercial bonsai in home depot, it was a juniper, half was brown and dead, but the other half was alive, so tara, check the whole tree. You can tell if its dead by scraping the bark with your finbgernail, and if the layer under it is green, its alive. if its brown, it's dead.

I have scraped it with my nail and it is green. So what would I do now? How often should I water it. It sits out in front of the house for morning sun. Is that not enough sun?

Juniper are trees that grow best in high sunlit areas that are quite dry. It is best to have your tree outside at all times. Contrary to common belief, a window sill is about the worst place for a tree.

yes, and it is outside in the sun everyday. How much water should it need? and how often?

Stick a toothpick in the soil and pull it out again. If the soil sticks to the toothpick, your plant does not need water. If there is no soil stuck to the toothpick, then it's time to water. You could also mist your tree regularly.
