I'm new to this growing bonsai from seed roughly how long does a bonsai from seed take to sprout from seed

It really all depends on the type of tree. A lot of trees also require a winter in order to germinate. Once it sprouts you will have several years of free growing before you can start training. You might want to think about getting an older specimen to practice on while you wait for your seed to become a tree.

growing from seed is about the slowest way one can develop any plant into a bonsai. It will take a decade before it becomes a legit bonsai. Let us know what happens.

There is no such thing as Bonsai Seeds its a scam it will take at least 2 decades to make a legit bonsai which is supposed to look like a big tree shrunk with the sa,e proportion and everything.

I noticed you posted several other questions about growing from seed. I'd just like to take this opportunity to encourage you to seek out other ways of obtaining bonsai material. It's not that growing from seed isn't rewarding, it's just that, as has already been said, it takes decades to get results. Fortunately for those of us who want a little gratification sooner, there are better ways of getting material. There's collecting, either from the wild or from unwanted landscape plants, or you can buy plants from a nursery and work on your pruning and wiring skills. If you have the money you may even consider buying a finished or a "pre-bonsai" from a bonsai nursery.

Just remember that if you collect from the wild, do it ethically. Get landowner permission, don't take rare or protected species, and leave the land as undisturbed as possible. Also remember if you buy one gallon plants from the nursery, that it doesn't have to look much like a bonsai when you buy it. Just look for a thick trunk with decent taper styling a tree is one of the best parts of this hobby.

Don't feel discouraged, because most people start out trying to grow from seed only to find that the little guy they've waited all year for just simply didn't grow. That's when we realize that there are additional ways to acquire material. Check out some of the articles on this forum. This is the best place for a beginner to start.
