What kind of bonsai tree?

I'm wondering if any one can tell me what the easiest bonsai tree is to take care of is and/or what the most popular is. I know I don't want something with needles. I would like something with little leaves.

ficus is the easiest. good for indoor growing next to a bright window. I have mine for 10 years and it's easy to water, prune and easy to clean up clipped leaves. The cuttings root easily which can turn into new projects.
