I am going to be gone for five days this month and wonder what to do with my flowering white serissa bonsai plant which I got about six weeks ago. I have it outside now, and water it every day and have fertilized it once a week, but I have never seen but one flower on it. Now I am worried if I leave it for five days that it will die.
Can I bring it indoors and cover it with plastic as I have done with my indoor plants? Or must I find someone who will be kind enough to care for it while I am gone?

The trouble is that Serissas are very thirsty plants. Id suggest getting someone to help take care of. THey are high maintanence plants. They like humidity, and wet roots but not to the point of root rot.
From my understanding it does not flower constantly but can about 3x a year. As my knowledge of it goes.
