chinese elm tree

I re-potted my tree in the wrong soil and it lost a lot of leaves. I have now re-potted it in bonsai soil and it is much better. I have read about how to water and prune and I was just wondering if the leaves will grow back on the branches were they are now bare.

It is a good possibility depending on how long they were without leaves. Just don't keep it too wet when there are no leaves.
