Have you used this product? The list of ingredients seems to heavily favor organic material. Also the particle size is going to be on the small side I would imagine.

I also wonder about the practice of collecting 'forest humus' To go get a bucket full for yourself is one thing but to create a commercial product around it seems wrong.

Having a company that makes bonsai soil so I have a bit of experience with "Free Draining Bonsai Soils". I also don't have a problem recommending other soils when a person is looking for a specific quality in a soil that we may not offer.
The list of ingredients mentioned on the above product seem contradictory to free draining soil .....it is on step above potting soil and given a season it will breakdown to potting soil.
I think this maybe a better suited product for maters or marigolds
