Hello All~
I live in Illinois, and have a small lake out back that has a multitude of Bald Cypress lining the lake bank. I have just noticed that there are literally hundreds of seedlings coming up and was wondering if this is normal this late in the season.
I have collected as many of them as I can to try and overwinter them, but am wondering how the rest will survive the winter.
Any thoughts?

Gandalph,
Sorry, this is not one of the species I grow. Hopefully another member with actual experience will help you. In the meantime, this is the best I can do.

Apparently you are lucky that you have them as it seems that they are not one of the easier species to grow from seed.
