Need help with Juniper turning brown

Hi, I'm new, My son gave me a small Bonsai tree ( I think it's a juniper) and it turning brown and falling off. I have no idea what to do. I think it got too much sun one day.

Is it kept inside your house or outside?

This is the reason it is browning. Junipers need to be kept outdoors, or they will die. It may be to late, but you could try to place it outside.
