There really is no substitute for real sunlight (pics)

This is my ficus after I brought it home from college, growing indoors with a lamp. (pic taken 6-14)

And this is what it looks like only a month later. The real sunlight and fresh air has really made this tree explode into growth. (pic taken 7-17)

Also this is my boxwood a with a month's worth of gowth. (pics taken same days)

I'm hoping the small aerial root on the boxwood will thicken and add to the overall look of the plant.

Also, this doesn't have anything to do with this topic, but here's a burning bush I collected yesterday. If it survives the next week or two, I have high hopes for it, even if it looks a little rough right now.

I really like burning bushes because they change color (unlike my other two) and I think they have interesting bark.

That reminds me of the song, "Ain't nothing like the real thing" by Marvin Gaye, and Tammi Terrell. Your trees look good. Use real sunlight from now on...lol
