Juniper Repotting

I have a 7 yr. Japenese Juniper. I have had it about 6 months. I believe that my bonsai needs to be repotted. The trunk and roots are starting to push through the surface. I am waiting til Spring before I repot it, but I am uncertain of the soil mixture that I should use. This is my first bonsai and I have kept it healthy so far. I have become very fond of her.

I know that repotting can be very stressful for the tree. I do not want to cause harm. I also need to remove the wiring from the tree and the roots. I would appreciate any insights on proper procedure and soil for repotting.

Thank you your help
