black on ficus leaf

Here is a lil ficus plant I picked up at Target.

I knew it was a lost cause but felt bad for the lil guy and got it anyways. No sunlight or anything I figured it was done for. But I brought it home, put it on a steady diet of the usual stuff, and its done very well. Lots of growth. But ive noticed these black growths eating at the plants here and there. Its not very advanced but should I be concerned?

Looks localized so I would just remove those leaves and keep an eye on things. Light would help so supplement with fluorescent light and keep it as bright as possible...
