I want to start training some japanese maples red or green, azalea, oaks, japenese white pines , black pines, larches any of these would be nice to get ahold of , does anyone know where I could buy saplings of any of these species or bonsai starters although they tend to be alot more money when you stick the bonsai name on them even if there isn't much training. If anyone knows a mailorder place or a place so cheap its worth the drive I would love to know. Thanks all
Hassan

Brent at Evergreen Gardenworks has some of the species you are looking for. He has Maples, Oaks and Pines including named (grafted) varieties as well as numerous other species.
Meehan's also has a pretty good catalog for starter material.

I am at a loss for good material or good advice in my city, there are a few places doing tropical trees but not with as much education as I would like, I will be checking those place out! I started some maples from seed so I would have trees exactly as old as my son but I was looking to have more to work with sooner.
