Jen,
I see that you also posted here. You now know that Junipers will not do well indoors. Even worse for you is the fact that by the time they get to this state they are already in decline.
You really need to provide more information. Is it inside or out? How long have you had it? How do you water? How cold is it in your area now? Do you have an outside location in which to keep it? Do you have a garage or other unheated space?
Those should get us started for now.

Jen,
I just had to look up the temperature in Mill Spring, I got a citation of 13F. Although this is not too cold for a properly acclimated Juniper I feel that to place it outside now would be too much of a shock for your tree.
If you do not make some alternate arrangements, meaning a cool, humid location, your tree will decline and die. In all honesty it may already be too late for this particular tree. Junipers are noted for appearing to be OK even as they are failing. By the time a Juniper gets to this condition the tree faces an uphill struggle.
If you wish to try again with a species that is more suited to indoor culture there are other choices. Or you could wait until spring and try again approaching bonsai in the traditional manner, outside.

Either she did not know what she was talking about or she simply wanted a sale. Unfortunately this is a common occurrence. I will quote Harry Harrington again here for the sake of clarity.the woman I bought it from told me to water when it gets dry and that it was a indoor tree as well
https://www.bonsai4me.com/SpeciesGuide/Juniperus.htmlNever try to grow Junipers indoors...Do not trust a vendor, seller, book or website that claims Junipers can be grown successfully indoors!
