Juniper Bonsai

Why are the spikes falling from my new juniper bonsai. I have been misting it several times a day since the end of Dec, 08.

Do you water it as well as misting it? Misting is not a replacement for thorough watering. Are you keeping the tree inside? Junipers don't do at all well inside, but a sudden move outside may not be a good choice depending on your weather.

You really need to provide more information for us to help. But I'd be lying if I said I was hopeful. These 'Christmas Junipers' are often doomed even before the hopeful owner gets the tree. They are like the fast food of the bonsai world, prepared with little care and not intended to last very long.
