"lucky Bamboo" used as humidity tray?
I've got several "lucky bamboo" plants right next to my bonsai. They are very similar to a humidity tray, gravel and water. In a small room such as a dorm that is already more humid than your average room, will the lucky bamboo pots work as well or almost as well as a humidity tray?

I suppose it would depend upon the area of the trays and how close they are to the other plants, but in general it surely could not hurt. I recently purchased a drip tray at Lowe's, it is made of black plastic with dimensions of about 14" X 27" X 1 1/4" deep. It is intended as a drip tray for boots and was inexpensive. The relatively large area is more effective than smaller trays.
