Hi Everyone,
I have 2 basic bonsai trees with nice designs, however I have a real problem with a regrowth of both my trees and the size of leaves on the new growth.
I follow the growth advice to the letter by watering, ground and plenty of light but still the leaves are like a lime green instead of dark green and of course the leaf size is much bigger than before.
Is there any way I can promote growth of smaller leaves and a darker colour as it is obvious I am doing something wrong the question is what ?
Any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately the advice given by retailers is not always accurate, can you elaborate on your watering practices?I follow the growth advice to the letter by watering,
This may not be a problem at all, my Ficus show this pattern normally.I have a real problem with a regrowth of both my trees...but still the leaves are like a lime green instead of dark green
