Aerial Roots

Hi guys,
just a quick question
I have a 5year old Ficus Retusa and I want to create some aerial roots from the branches. is there anyway to do this apart from grafting roots?

The best way to induce arial roots is to keep the air around the ficus very humid, one way to doo this is to place it insid a terarium. Also see https://www.bonsaihunk.us/BanyansStranglerEpiphytes.html

Sphagnum moss around the area where you wish to encourage root growth is also a possible method.

On top of these suggestions I think you could put a humidity tray under your tree.
That might add some humidity as well.

Take Care
