Dear All,
Today I have bought my second bonsai from a supermarket. The tag said the tree is 9 years old and can be kept indoor.
I have tried to locate this bonsai in the forum without success.
Following are the pictures :

a) I can see green on the bark of the bonsai, is it normal?
b) Also in one of the pictures, you can see there is a hole in the main trunk, was there a branch there which was cut or this is some kind of disease?
c) I hope this can be kept indoor, the current location is just to take pictures, I will keep it near the window which is east facing so that it can get maximum possible sunlight.
d) Please suggests neccessary care tips for this bonsai and any remarks on the plant after seeing the pictures.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sudeep

This is a ficus. Most likely a Ficus retusa. You need not worry about the green, as this is completely normal. Also, you don't need to worry about the hole, as there was probably a branch that was cut off, and it will likely heal in time (even though I can't see it). This tree can be kept indoors. To find out more about ficuses, and growing bonsai indoors in general, I recommend you check out the following site: https://www.bonsaihunk.us/cultural.html It has a lot of information to help you get started.
