Very good find that will make a nice little tree. Its hard to give good styling advice when you cant see the branches though. Make a drawing of what you'd like it to look like and style as best you can in that direction.

There is actually a thread over in BT that is ranting about how beginners don't go for junipers like this to start with and learn from. Instead they go for harder and hopeless trees that will never be anything. I praise you for going this rout.

That's one awesome little tree with a nice, thick trunk. My first impression would be to let it grow taller for an informal upright. But, as Tom says, this is very difficult to recommend without seeing the branch structure up close and personal.

I've done some pruning on it and opened it up a little bit there is a large branch that was cut a few yrs ago will post a pic later
