Its an update on my Marigold. I didn't make the big cut hopping that it would heal over. it looks like it has. None of the blooms are dying, in fact they are starting to bloom more. Should i keep it as it is, or should i make the big cut?

Hey little bear!
Ah yes, the tree form marigold . I'd go with it at this point; prune the bottom back to the trunk and pretend you meant to do it all along... Just cut flowers back near the branch, head back the leaders to keep a little ball shape on top and you have a topiary marigold! Sweet!
