MAMMOTH ELEPHANT EARS

I HAVE A FRIEND WHO IS PLANTING A MAMMOTH ELEPHANT EAR BULB AND IS CURIOUS AS TO THE PROPER PROCEDURE. LOOKING FOR ANY HELP ON THIS ONE! :D

I've always planted mine on the north side of the house and made sure they had plenty of water all summer long. Let your friend know that they take a while to sprout but they'll 'go to town' after that.
