THG is Going to UPDATE Soon - Please Read

The site needs an update to improve things. I'll likely start the update Friday morning, at which time I'll turn the site off.

Smile now
If all goes well it should be back up in a matter of a few minutes.

Or cry later
If the update goes to heck in a hand basket (worst case scenario), then the site will be down for the weekend. But I doubt it'll come to that.

I'm taking steps to make sure the site is fully backed up and ready to bring the site back in case I get in over my head. :P

Rest assured, I kind of know what I'm doing. 8)

Thanks! :)

And the images are still downloading, since Friday afternoon all through the night and still downloading today. It's probably not necessary but I just want to be as backed up as possible, quadruple redundant. Just in case. :P

The backup took longer than anticipated. However the update is set for this weekend, January 29th.

And... done!

I hope!
:P

Had a nightmare about this, went over the worst case scenarios in my dreams. Woke up ready to tackle it. Of course, something went wrong and I had to call support to give the server a kick. The rest was a matter of waiting for things to download so I could upload them again, lol.

And I see the first bug. The user avatars are missing. Will fix it asap. :P
