My roses

So I just moved my family into a new house and ee are very lucky to have these roses.

I've never been into plants but I think our roses are beautiful. We have a red knockout bush, pink knock out bush, and a tall pink large rose that I think is a climber. and I want to keep them healthy.

I've read plenty on pruning so I think I can handle that.

My question is winter time. I have read that some say cover with mulch and I've seen some say to wrap them after being cut back before winter.

Is there a benefit to one over the other?

This is the one that might be a climber? We are thinking that because of how it is growing.

I'll try to add a picture of it later. It's one bloom per stalk/stem and they are almost to my shoulders and I'm 6'2.

They have a very soft/faint scent. Even putting your nose very close it's not strong like ones I've smelled in stores.

It's very pleasant though.

I went out and looked at them today and I see 6 new buds starting.

I'm in USDA zone 6a, southeast Michigan.

Glad you've started this one. Very nice pictures and roses. They are my new passion.
Some of mine:

I don't know the name of it:

I'll add more, as soon as they flower (waiting for Julio Iglesias and one or two other).

That double deight is gorgeous.

I cannot help with names. I'm guessing two I referred to are knockouts based on images and info I've found.

Still no idea what the big pink "climber" is.

I'm litterally just starting to get educated so hopefully someone will come along and be able to help you.

I seriously want one of those double delights.

It's one of my favorites. Very fragrant too, along with Sissi.

I'll add that as soon as I find the signature options.

I tried editing my profile and did not find the option there.

If anyone that reads this knows what type of rose the possible climber is I'd appreciate it's name.
