Planting Roses in same place as old ones

A climbing rose did not come back, and another hybrid tea rose did not come back. I found the exact same climbing rose and am thinking of planting it in the same spot where the old one did not come back. Same for the hybrid rose. Is it a good idea or not? Thank you.

What kind of prep are you going to do?

Are the roots of the old rose still decaying? If when you dig the hole you see a lot of white fungal matter, you should just amend with compost and maybe some composted manure and wait until the decomposition has finished or it will suck nitrogen from your new rose.

I still would want to amend the site before planting since the old rose used up most of the nutrients.

If the old rose had any disease that may persist, a new location would be better.

I have removed the dead roots and was planning to add triple mix to the existing soil as well as bonemeal and rose fertilizer. I didn't see any white fungus and I don't think there was any disease or black spot. I've attached a picture.
P.S. Why are my pictures changing to landscape view?
