Rose Cones

I am in zone 5 Canada and have a great hybrid tea rose bush.This is first year for it and it has done well.I want to give it protection this winter and was thinking rose cone,but don't know if these actually are good to use.Any suggestions?

Thanks so much for the info.I really want to see this rose again next year,and I already have chicken wire,so will give this a try,seems simple enough!
