hybrid tea rose

A friend gave me a Peace tea rose and I planted it on April 15th 2012, well, I forgot to put any barrier around it and the neighbor came over to mow the grass, he mowed right over the rose and skinned it, I did not think it would survive but I cut the skinned canes off and put fingernail polish on the cut places so the bugs and diseases could not get in. This rain we have had today will really give her a good drink, and hopefully I will have some pictures of a bloom or two before winter sets in.

I just went out and gave rosey a gallon watering can of water, she soaked it up like a sponge, I think sometime this week or next I am going to give her some Miracle-Gro. I try to feed her at least once a month and this is June and I have not fed her yet. How long should I wait until I feed her more often?
